# Impossible Bottle Flip vs Alphabetris

The clearest difference is rating: Impossible Bottle Flip at 4.4 against Alphabetris's 3.7. Impossible Bottle Flip also leads on ratings volume (56K vs 78). Alphabetris's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Impossible Bottle Flip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Alphabetris sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Impossible Bottle Flip holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Impossible Bottle Flip has 56K ratings behind it against 78, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Impossible Bottle Flip's written reviews are positive against 50% of Alphabetris's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Impossible Bottle Flip ships an update monthly, Alphabetris every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
