# Multi Timer vs About Timers

The clearest difference is rating: About Timers at 4.5 against Multi Timer's 3.7. About Timers also leads on ratings volume (57 vs 11). Multi Timer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. About Timers sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Multi Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

About Timers holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: About Timers has 57 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Multi Timer's written reviews are positive against 67% of About Timers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
