# Multi Timer vs Timr

The clearest difference is rating: Timr at 4.5 against Multi Timer's 3.7. Timr also leads on ratings volume (183 vs 11). Multi Timer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (73% vs 57%). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timr sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.69 per month. Multi Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Timr holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timr has 183 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Multi Timer's written reviews are positive against 57% of Timr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
