# Stupid Simple Macro Tracker vs Macros

Stupid Simple Macro Tracker and Macros both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 83% of Macros's written reviews are positive against 65% of Stupid Simple Macro Tracker's. Macros also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Stupid Simple Macro Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 1.1K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stupid Simple Macro Tracker sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Macros sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Stupid Simple Macro Tracker against 4.7 for Macros. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stupid Simple Macro Tracker has 8K ratings behind it against 1.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of Stupid Simple Macro Tracker's written reviews are positive against 83% of Macros's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
