# WiFi vs DVRunning2

The clearest difference is rating: DVRunning2 at 2.1 against WiFi's 1.6. WiFi's advantage is review sentiment (20% vs 9%) and iOS requirement (8.2 vs 12.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DVRunning2 holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 33 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of WiFi's written reviews are positive against 9% of DVRunning2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WiFi ships an update every 6 weeks, DVRunning2 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
