# AlertTraveler vs TinyPoll

The clearest difference is rating: AlertTraveler at 3.1 against TinyPoll's 2.5. AlertTraveler also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). TinyPoll's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (152 vs 25). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TinyPoll sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per year. AlertTraveler asks for nothing beyond the download.

AlertTraveler holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TinyPoll has 152 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of AlertTraveler's written reviews are positive against 28% of TinyPoll's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AlertTraveler ships an update every 2 months, TinyPoll every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
