# Inkdrop vs Markdown Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Inkdrop at 3.9 against Markdown Notes's 1.0. Inkdrop also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (44 vs 1). Markdown Notes's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Markdown Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Inkdrop asks for nothing beyond the download.

Inkdrop holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inkdrop has 44 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Inkdrop's written reviews are positive against 67% of Markdown Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
