# Staxi vs Check

The clearest difference is rating: Check at 3.7 against Staxi's 2.0. Check also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (47 vs 4). Staxi's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 28%) and iOS requirement (11.4 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Check holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Check has 47 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Staxi's written reviews are positive against 28% of Check's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Staxi ships an update every 3 months, Check every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
