# Staxi vs RET

The clearest difference is rating: RET at 4.7 against Staxi's 2.0. RET also leads on ratings volume (163 vs 4) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). Staxi's advantage is iOS requirement (11.4 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RET holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RET has 163 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 50% positive.

Staxi ships an update every 3 months, RET every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
