# Convose vs Stereo

Convose and Stereo both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Convose's written reviews are positive against 46% of Stereo's. Convose also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Stereo's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 8). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Convose against 4.6 for Stereo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stereo has 10K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of Convose's written reviews are positive against 46% of Stereo's.

Convose ships an update fortnightly, Stereo every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
