# Lock Notes vs Onyx

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Lock Notes at 15.0 against Onyx's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lock Notes sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Onyx sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
