# MHDashboard vs Bulbul Books

The clearest difference is rating: Bulbul Books at 4.8 against MHDashboard's 4.0. Bulbul Books also leads on ratings volume (525 vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). MHDashboard's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bulbul Books sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. MHDashboard asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bulbul Books holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bulbul Books has 525 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of MHDashboard's written reviews are positive against 85% of Bulbul Books's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MHDashboard ships an update every 3 months, Bulbul Books every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
