# Go by FE vs Unibuddy

The clearest difference is rating: Unibuddy at 4.6 against Go by FE's 2.3. Unibuddy also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (106 vs 3). Go by FE's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 7%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Unibuddy holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unibuddy has 106 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Go by FE's written reviews are positive against 7% of Unibuddy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Go by FE ships an update every 4 months, Unibuddy every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
