# Memo vs Sticky Notes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sticky Notes at 100% against Memo's 25%. Sticky Notes also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months). Memo's advantage is ratings volume (71 vs 5) and device support (5 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memo sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Sticky Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sticky Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Memo has 71 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of Memo's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sticky Notes's.

Memo ships an update every 9 months, Sticky Notes fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
