# Formed vs Confirmation

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Confirmation at none against Formed's 9. Confirmation also leads on iOS requirement (12.2 vs 16.6). Formed's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Formed sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Confirmation asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Formed against 5.0 for Confirmation. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Formed has 14K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
