# Formed vs Holy Heroes

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Formed at 14K against Holy Heroes's 3. Holy Heroes's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Formed sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Holy Heroes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Formed against 5.0 for Holy Heroes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Formed has 14K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 99% of Formed's written reviews are positive against 100% of Holy Heroes's.

Formed ships an update every 2 months, Holy Heroes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
