# Astrologaster vs Foretales

The clearest difference is update cadence: Foretales at daily against Astrologaster's every 2 weeks. Foretales also leads on price ($4.99 vs $9.99) and chart position (#44 vs unranked). Astrologaster's advantage is review sentiment (84% vs 58%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On rating, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Astrologaster costs $9.99 and Foretales $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Foretales holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 65 and 166 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Astrologaster's written reviews are positive against 58% of Foretales's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Astrologaster ships an update every 2 weeks, Foretales daily. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
