# COSMOTE Mobile Security vs EYDAPP

The clearest difference is rating: COSMOTE Mobile Security at 3.0 against EYDAPP's 2.4. EYDAPP's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 13 months) and review sentiment (36% vs 13%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

COSMOTE Mobile Security holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EYDAPP has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of COSMOTE Mobile Security's written reviews are positive against 36% of EYDAPP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

COSMOTE Mobile Security ships an update every 13 months, EYDAPP every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
