# e vs Orange Flex

e and Orange Flex both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 76% of e's written reviews are positive against 44% of Orange Flex's. Orange Flex's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 4) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for e against 4.7 for Orange Flex. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orange Flex has 1.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of e's written reviews are positive against 44% of Orange Flex's.

e ships an update weekly, Orange Flex every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
