# MediaZilla vs Pic

The clearest difference is rating: Pic at 4.7 against MediaZilla's 3.8. Pic also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 20) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pic holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pic has 1.7K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of MediaZilla's written reviews are positive against 31% of Pic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MediaZilla ships an update every 6 weeks, Pic every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
