# Political Coordinates vs TierMaker.com

The clearest difference is rating: TierMaker.com at 4.2 against Political Coordinates's 2.3. TierMaker.com also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 26). Political Coordinates's advantage is review sentiment (17% vs 9%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Political Coordinates sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TierMaker.com sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TierMaker.com holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TierMaker.com has 1.8K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Political Coordinates's written reviews are positive against 9% of TierMaker.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Political Coordinates ships an update every 6 months, TierMaker.com weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
