# Humanforce (Legacy) vs Workforce by Avetta

The clearest difference is rating: Workforce by Avetta at 5.0 against Humanforce (Legacy)'s 4.5. Workforce by Avetta also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Humanforce (Legacy)'s advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 3) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Workforce by Avetta holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Humanforce (Legacy) has 32 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Humanforce (Legacy)'s written reviews are positive against 8% of Workforce by Avetta's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Humanforce (Legacy) ships an update every 5 weeks, Workforce by Avetta every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
