# Watch Faces vs Watch Faces by MobyFox

The clearest difference is ads: Watch Faces by MobyFox at none against Watch Faces's shown. Watch Faces by MobyFox also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Watch Faces's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 36%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Faces sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Watch Faces by MobyFox sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Watch Faces by MobyFox holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5.7K and 13K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Watch Faces's written reviews are positive against 36% of Watch Faces by MobyFox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Watch Faces ships an update every 8 days, Watch Faces by MobyFox every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
