# FarmCommand vs XLSX Sheets

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FarmCommand at 64% against XLSX Sheets's 22%. FarmCommand also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 18). XLSX Sheets's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 19) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XLSX Sheets sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. FarmCommand asks for nothing beyond the download.

XLSX Sheets holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XLSX Sheets has 3.3K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of FarmCommand's written reviews are positive against 22% of XLSX Sheets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FarmCommand ships an update every 3 weeks, XLSX Sheets monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
