# SimpleTexting vs Business Messenger Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: Business Messenger Pro at free against SimpleTexting's free with in-app purchases. Business Messenger Pro also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). SimpleTexting's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Business Messenger Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SimpleTexting has 3.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SimpleTexting ships an update every 3 months, Business Messenger Pro every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
