# PlayBallRadio vs Baseball Live

The clearest difference is rating: Baseball Live at 5.0 against PlayBallRadio's 3.6. Baseball Live also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). PlayBallRadio's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball Live sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. PlayBallRadio asks for nothing beyond the download.

Baseball Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseball Live has 64 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of PlayBallRadio's written reviews are positive against 100% of Baseball Live's.

PlayBallRadio ships an update monthly, Baseball Live fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
