# Temp Mail vs AlwaysHome Mobile

The clearest difference is monetization model: Temp Mail at free with in-app purchases against AlwaysHome Mobile's subscription. Temp Mail also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 2.9K). AlwaysHome Mobile's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (80% vs 47%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Temp Mail sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and AlwaysHome Mobile sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Temp Mail against 4.8 for AlwaysHome Mobile. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Temp Mail has 20K ratings behind it against 2.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 47% of Temp Mail's written reviews are positive against 80% of AlwaysHome Mobile's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
