# Temp Mail vs Wise Chat

Temp Mail and Wise Chat both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Wise Chat's written reviews are positive against 47% of Temp Mail's. Wise Chat also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13 vs 17.4). Temp Mail's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 23). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Temp Mail sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Wise Chat sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Temp Mail against 4.6 for Wise Chat. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Temp Mail has 20K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 47% of Temp Mail's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wise Chat's.

Temp Mail ships an update every 2 months, Wise Chat monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
