# 幕布 vs MindTwigs

The clearest difference is monetization model: MindTwigs at free against 幕布's freemium. MindTwigs also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). 幕布's advantage is ratings volume (516 vs 10) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 幕布 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and MindTwigs sells 19 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for 幕布 against 4.9 for MindTwigs. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 幕布 has 516 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of 幕布's written reviews are positive against 100% of MindTwigs's.

幕布 ships an update every 8 days, MindTwigs every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
