# 幕布 vs DSearch

The clearest difference is ratings volume: 幕布 at 519 against DSearch's 5. 幕布 also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6). DSearch's advantage is review sentiment (94% vs 77%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 幕布 sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and DSearch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

幕布 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 幕布 has 519 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of 幕布's written reviews are positive against 94% of DSearch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

幕布 ships an update every 8 days, DSearch fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
