# EchoDrive vs Great West

The clearest difference is rating: Great West at 5.0 against EchoDrive's 4.2. EchoDrive's advantage is ratings volume (31 vs 2) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Great West holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EchoDrive has 31 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EchoDrive ships an update every 6 weeks, Great West every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on August 13, 2026 and September 8, 2026 respectively.
