# bnClock vs Digital Clock

The clearest difference is rating: Digital Clock at 4.4 against bnClock's 3.9. Digital Clock also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 35) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). bnClock's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. bnClock asks for nothing beyond the download.

Digital Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Clock has 1.3K ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of bnClock's written reviews are positive against 51% of Digital Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

bnClock ships an update every 2 months, Digital Clock every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
