# CELPIP TIP vs OmimO

The clearest difference is monetization model: CELPIP TIP at freemium against OmimO's subscription. CELPIP TIP also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (57 vs 1). OmimO's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CELPIP TIP sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and OmimO sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CELPIP TIP holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CELPIP TIP has 57 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
