# Liberate vs ServiceArchive

The clearest difference is update cadence: Liberate at weekly against ServiceArchive's every 2 months. Liberate also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (868 vs 1). ServiceArchive's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (17.2 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Liberate sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ServiceArchive sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ServiceArchive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Liberate has 868 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Liberate ships an update weekly, ServiceArchive every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
