# DT vs XL FLY

The clearest difference is rating: XL FLY at 3.7 against DT's 1.6. DT's advantage is review sentiment (14% vs 0%) and ratings volume (18 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XL FLY holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DT has 18 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of DT's written reviews are positive against 0% of XL FLY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DT ships an update every 3 weeks, XL FLY fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
