# ASTAR vs Фикбук

The clearest difference is rating: ASTAR at 3.0 against Фикбук's 2.1. ASTAR also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). Фикбук's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (475 vs 2). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Фикбук sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. ASTAR asks for nothing beyond the download.

ASTAR holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Фикбук has 475 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of ASTAR's written reviews are positive against 14% of Фикбук's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ASTAR ships an update every 3 months, Фикбук every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
