# MistAI vs Project Sign

The clearest difference is rating: Project Sign at 5.0 against MistAI's 4.1. Project Sign also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). MistAI's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Project Sign holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MistAI has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MistAI ships an update every 2 months, Project Sign every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
