# MistAI vs Taiv

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Taiv at 100% against MistAI's 25%. Taiv also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). MistAI's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (15 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Taiv holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MistAI has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of MistAI's written reviews are positive against 100% of Taiv's.

MistAI ships an update every 2 months, Taiv every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
