# Gridwise vs Gigit App

The clearest difference is ads: Gigit App at none against Gridwise's shown. Gigit App also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). Gridwise's advantage is ratings volume (29K vs 8) and chart position (#28 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gridwise sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Gigit App sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Gridwise against 5.0 for Gigit App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gridwise has 29K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of Gridwise's written reviews are positive against 100% of Gigit App's.

Gridwise ships an update every 3 weeks, Gigit App every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
