# Gridwise vs Fyxi

The clearest difference is monetization model: Gridwise at freemium against Fyxi's subscription. Gridwise also leads on ratings volume (29K vs 1) and chart position (#32 vs unranked). Fyxi's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gridwise sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Fyxi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Gridwise against 5.0 for Fyxi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gridwise has 29K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
