The clearest difference is ads: Active ID at none against Betapress's shown. Active ID also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months). Betapress's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Betapress ships an update every 12 months, Active ID every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
