# Storm Radar vs ARMAS

Storm Radar and ARMAS both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ARMAS's written reviews are positive against 65% of Storm Radar's. ARMAS also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.2). Storm Radar's advantage is ratings volume (137K vs 6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Storm Radar sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ARMAS sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Storm Radar holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Storm Radar has 137K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Storm Radar's written reviews are positive against 100% of ARMAS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Storm Radar ships an update every 2 weeks, ARMAS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
