# LaserHIT vs Virtual

The clearest difference is ratings volume: LaserHIT at 263 against Virtual's 14. LaserHIT also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.1) and review sentiment (60% vs 50%). Virtual's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LaserHIT sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Virtual sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LaserHIT holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LaserHIT has 263 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. LaserHIT ships an update monthly, Virtual every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
