# VPN Connector Unlimited Secure vs FlareShield

The clearest difference is update cadence: VPN Connector Unlimited Secure at fortnightly against FlareShield's every 2 months. FlareShield's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Connector Unlimited Secure sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and FlareShield sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
