# USCIS vs Civics Flash

The clearest difference is rating: Civics Flash at 5.0 against USCIS's 4.0. Civics Flash also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). USCIS's advantage is ratings volume (278 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Civics Flash holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USCIS has 278 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

USCIS ships an update every 2 months, Civics Flash every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
