# Flytec vs WiFi UAV

The clearest difference is rating: Flytec at 4.0 against WiFi UAV's 2.9. Flytec also leads on iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 9.0). WiFi UAV's advantage is ratings volume (471 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flytec holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WiFi UAV has 471 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flytec ships an update every 2 months, WiFi UAV every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on July 4, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
