# Flytec vs V22 RC

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flytec at every 2 months against V22 RC's every 4 months. Flytec also leads on iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 9.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flytec ships an update every 2 months, V22 RC every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on July 4, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
