# Chess ⁺ vs Inferra

The clearest difference is update cadence: Inferra at every 6 days against Chess ⁺'s every 2 months. Chess ⁺'s advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chess ⁺ sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Inferra sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chess ⁺ ships an update every 2 months, Inferra every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
