# T vs Shift

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: T at none against Shift's 1. T also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). Shift's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. T asks for nothing beyond the download.

T ships an update every 4 months, Shift every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
