# Social Steps vs PHYZIK

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PHYZIK at 100% against Social Steps's 62%. PHYZIK also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Social Steps's advantage is ratings volume (5.2K vs 11). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Social Steps sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and PHYZIK sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PHYZIK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Social Steps has 5.2K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.
